A free, browser-based tool to view and edit the metadata (document properties) embedded in a PDF — title, author, subject, keywords, creator, and producer. You can rewrite each field or strip everything in one click. There's nothing to install and no sign-up, and because everything runs locally in your browser, your file is never uploaded to a server.

How to edit PDF metadata

  1. Upload your PDF by dragging it in or clicking the upload area.
  2. Review the current metadata shown on the left, then edit the fields on the right. Keywords are comma-separated.
  3. Press “Save & download” to get the updated PDF, or “Clear all metadata & download” to strip every field.
